G20

G20 is a group of the 20 major economic powers of the world. They come together to develop policies to address the major issues facing our society today. The G20 was formed in 2008 in response to a worldwide economic crisis, and is different from the UN in that it is a forum for economic development whereas the UN focuses on global security and humanitarian issues. It is instrumental in stabilizing the economy of the world, but is not meant to represent the opinions of every country. It represents the views of banks and governors from a select group of countries, but nevertheless the G20 has a worldwide influence.
